Common Questions
What do I need to have to start?
How do meetups work?
You just got your new Bronco or maybe thinking about getting one. We will help you along the way. We have adventures suitable for stock Broncos, ranging from scenic forest service roads to more technical Michigan trails. Each adventure is rated from beginner to expert.Â
Meetups are typically held once a month at trailheads. local parks or a coffee and cars meet up. We focus on trail education, safety, community and forest conservation efforts.
Is there a membership fee?
What should I bring?
We recommend water, snacks, a basic recovery kit, and a radio. For cleanups, bring sturdy gloves and your passion for preserving Michigan's wild spaces. Each meeting or event will note if something is needed.
Basic participation in our trail cleanups and community meetups is free. We believe in building an accessible community for all enthusiasts. There are some larger meetups that may have a cost. Typically $50-$100 depending on the event.Â
Can I volunteer?
Are kids and pets welcome?
Absolutely. Each event is a little different. Sometimes we need people to volunteer for Trail Guide to helping at a both for an event. We are also getting involved with Ford Bronco Wildfund to help with Forest conservation. You can sign up for trail maintenance projects during any of our scheduled outings.
Yes! We are a family-oriented group. Most of our scenic routes are perfect for junior explorers and trail-loving dogs on leashes.
